Default Reformating Troubles

I just got done reformating, it did NOT ask me for my windows key... but here I am, I have NOTHING but a recycle bin on my desktop, how to I get all that starting stuff back, did I screw up, make a fatal mistake? Is there more to it when Im done, such as drivers for my Gefroce 5200? Drivers for computer, something? I have my drivers and utilities CD with no clue about it. Please help.

Sounds like you didnt format correctly, if you had done a whole format, windows wouldnt be one there, you may have just wiped a portion of the data, if you want to try again, you can go into dos, and type 'format c:', or even easier, boot to your windows cd, and choos the formate option.

It's one of those things where I wish I was on the phone with someone, and I don't want to talk to those people in India.
