Default Question about startup

When I turn on my computer, it obviously tries to boot up. Well, it gets to a point where it says "Reboot and select proper device or Insert Boot Media in Selected Boot Device". I've figured out that if I push control+alt+delete and then continue to tap delete that it will skip this and go to my desktop just as normal. However, this has never been a problem before and I was wondering how to fix this problem so I don't have to act ghetto and continue to tap delete to make it work. How can I get rid of this message? Thanks.

By the way, is there a way to make the below information automatic so you don't have to type it in every time you post? Thanks again.

You might need to go in the bios and look at your boot order, since you have no floppy it should be cd-rom then hard drive

Do you have a CD in the CD drive?

It seems, (and I am no expert), that your computer is coming across a drive that is higher up the boot order than your Hard Drive that has media in it...
