I'm not here to convince you, I'm here to ask and give help on computers, so if you don't like it then that's fine humans are entitled to there opinions. but this is my personal experience with the brand and it is what it is

people accusing you of a fan boy for unfounded reasons
He called you a fanboy because of this post: http://www.computerforum.com/showpos...06&postcount=6

Typically after a statement like that with no supporting reason for the AMD/Intel/nVidia/ATi (happens with them all) the poster is a fanboy. It's not an unfounded statement. If you don't want to be called a fanboy don't make fanboy statements then get all whiney when someone calls you on it.

To me it sounds like you expected the non-upgraded machine to be faster. That's just a little foolish don't you think?
no, i upgraded the CPU but bought the same mobo i had before (my fault for not going into detail) and i never said "amd is the best" i said stay away from Intel and you all jumped up in arms, i'm not here to be mean or argue with you guys so chill out

its not a fan boy statement its an opinion Jesus Christ i was sharing my opinion i was just fueling the reason for creation of forums! to talk and share ideas and Opinions

and take into factor the human condition, i gave no supporting details because i was close to leaving my home and didn't know you guys would react this way, and i'm not whiny the only one being whiny is you, you are whining about my opinion

It wasn't explained when you first statement.

And maybe he's a more respected member because he puts a little more thought into what he posts.

Anyway, this is getting way off topic. You can't say something about brand A vs brand B

1) without something to justify it (without having someone pry the information out of you)
2) by generalizing an entire brand you usually make your statement to vague to be universally true (ie my P4 will whip my K6-2's ass anyday)

That's fine that you give your opinion, but just back it up or make sure you state as an opinion, not as fact - ie preface it with "in my opinion" or "my experience with..."

You can call me what ever you want I don't give a damn what some guy on an internet forum thinks of me.

I was only refering to the intial post and trying to explain why he had reason to call you a fan boy, from the sound of things you had an Intel CPU die on you and you said go with AMD because of that. What do you want me to say? You're not a fanboy? I didn't call you one in the first place, either way a brand statement like 'amd good, intel bad' or 'intel sucks' or 'amd sucks' or whatever will get you called a fanboy everytime.

your a hypocrite, you say i don't put thought into my posts which could be considered a fan boy statement advantage Lord AnthraX because i doubt you've read all my 19 posts and you say i don't put thoughts into them! whatever fan boy

1)i did give my story in later post that you keep seaming to conveniently forget about

2)I'm fine with generalizing them because if they cant make a 1 good CPU then the future looks dark for there other CPU

me neither

and no i had an Intel die on me but that's not the complete reason, you see even when the Intel was in working condition it was slower than the amd that was on about the same level. and i never said 'amd good, Intel bad' 'intel sucks' or any of that garbage
