I use Avast, it is relatively quick to load and seems to protect from viruses, automatically updates and has live protection. But i haven't ever used AVG

I have used both and prefer Avast! However, AVG is a good choice as well. I would simply get both and try which suits you best. I find AVG loads up faster actually. However, I prefer the way that Avast! looks. Up o you I say.

I think Avast is better but I use AVG because Avast isn't compatable with Zonelabs. AVG isn't bad.
