Ok I found the file the trojan is in but its long. Its in

C:\System Volume Information\_restore{B37680B2-BA0A-4E5D-BF30-83E44C588624}\RP190\\A0193982.dll

Can anyone help me please?! Thanks!

That's in your system restore, turn it off to purge it, then turn it back on clean.

And why have you got Norton, AVG and McAfee running on startup?

Where do I find it to turn it off? AVG is the only anti-virus that found it and right now it's sitting in its "virus vault", I guess that's a quarentine thing.

Well I have Norton Interenet security for my anti-virus and firewall and such, McAfee for a firewall, anti-spyware, and quick clean, and AVG I just downloaded today to check everything out and I'm glad I did

Ok well I turned off system restore and turned it back on and now I'm going to delete the thing from the qurentine and scan again. My comp is locked down and all my traffic is being blocked so it can't access the internet or anything. Let's see what this does.

Hey I got another question, sorry to be a bother, but can you get a virus over a wireless connection? I'm not on the network and I can't share files with the infected computer, but am I still in danger?

AVG is the only anti-virus that found it and right now it's sitting in its "virus vault", I guess that's a quarentine thing. Well I have Norton Interenet security for my anti-virus and firewall and such, McAfee for a firewall, anti-spyware, and quick clean, and AVG I just downloaded today to check everything out and I'm glad I did

Pck21 Platinum Member Join Date: Aug 2005 Posts: 706	Ok well I turned off system restore and turned it back on and now I'm going to delete the thing from the qurentine and scan again. My comp is locked down and all my traffic is being blocked so it can't access the internet or anything. Let's see what this does.
