in the past few days I have bee trying play cs: source and for some reason when i start playing the game it just freezes and I have to reboot the computer. Can someone help me on this? thanks

New video card? New anything? Is this the first time you have played it on this PC? Try opening the case and make sure the video card is not caked with dust bunnies, and the fan on the Video card is spinning...

did you upgrade your ati card? Now every year ati comes out with a new software (update). go to www.ati.com to download it.

Once you do that, download and install the latest drivers. Remove CS and reinstall it. Hopefully, at this point the problem is gone....good luck!
