Default Can Someone Please Explain the Difference between these RAMs?

What is the difference between this Ram:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145440

And this RAM:

http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Produc...0098-34&ps=ho3

I did go to Corsair's main sight and looked up the RAM specs for both but they didn't give much. Perhap's I just don't know where to look.

Also, if someone can, what are the advantages between a gig of 2x512 sticks and 1 single stick of gig. Thanks.

the difference between these rams is that the one from zipzoomfly is a single stick of 1gb which means it wont be dual channel. if thats wat u wanted. the one from newegg.com is 2 sticks of 512 creating a dual channel memory,if u want that.

As well as that already said, the first stick has a CAS latency of 2.5 while the other stick has a CAS latency of 3. It's nothing major, but also a difference.
