Default Cache or Interface

For a hard drive would 16mb of cache be more beneficial or would SATA2 be faster?

yea the 16mb is SATA 150. But there are also SATA2 16mb HDD. However if I had to buy a:
SATA 150 16mb cache
or
SATA2 8mb cache,
which would give better performance?

yes, but if he was deciding between an IDE w/16MB cache or a SATA2 w/8MB cache, then i would think the SATA 2 would be the better choice.
