Default Help! Buying New Soundcard?

Hi, i want to upgrade from my onboard soundchip to a proper soundcard.


As i dont have much money i was looking at this Clicky
Is this any good atall?
I want to be able to feed out dolby digital through either coaxial or optical because i want to enjoy my games in 5.1 surround sound.

you might want to have a look at HDA Digital X-Mystique 7.1 Gold PCI Dolby Soundcard

Not the cheapest sound card out there but it has all the bits you require !

Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy ES Sound Card (SB0160)

Is that card any good because i can get it cheap of a friend of mine?

they are good 24bit sound, but no coaxial or optical on them (i think) might be wrong, but you might want to check first !

Its says on most places that it has s/pdif out, so i assume its like a headphone jack connector, which then i will need a jack to RCA cable
