i dont really know yet. im keepin the monitor but i might give it to my sister or i might sell it. so my solution is 2 buy like a X2 4200+ or something like that then to buy a newer mobo and cpu when they become available.

2. Well if you're getting that, then get serious RAM, say Mushkin Redline or OCz VX Quote:

2. Well, you can always wait for a newer generation of chips.... Quote:
2. You also do realize that, your mobo wont do SLI straight out of the box too right? Quote:
2. As for gaming, AMD and AMD-gaming in general is not often cache-bound so a 3700 isnt even neccesary. The extra half-meg of cache will result in a performance delta you'll damn near never experience Quote:
2. Sorry, you wont be able to play every game at high settings, no matter how much money you throw at it. Quote:
2. Do not that I'm not suggesting that the idea of buying a lower end chip and overclocking it is a bad one -- just dont expect to be able to hit the high overclocks other people can get and do realize that the FX chip will overclock better Quote:
2. Given the cost of a FX57 and 2xGTX, the cost of a heatsink is somewhat inconsequential Quote:

2. Good RAM as mentioned as well (not to say what you've picked isnt good -- just that it doesnt meet the bar set by everything else) 3. Since you dont have a budget, SCSI drives
