First I would like to say that I am running Windows 2000 and I am having a problem sharing my connection. My laptop and xbox are set up so that my xbox is connected through my computer. Modem ---> Laptop (through usb wire rather than the ethernet) ---> xbox (through cross over ethernet cable). I have run into a problem sharing the connection from the laptop to the xbox because in my local area connection the "sharing" tab has been removed for some reason. My question is why has it been removed disappeared for no reason and how do I get it back? A tutorial for sharing the connection can be seen here but I am unable to follow it because, I'm missing the sharing tab, needed in step 5. http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...;307311&sd=tech
Any suggestions to how to get this tab back, I don't know why it all of a sudden disappeared but it did and I can't figure out how to get it back. Thanks |

Is your win2000 all up to date? Do you have all the client/sercvices and protocols installed? Can you ping the xbox, or does it show another device?
