Hello
So i have mandrake linux installed but i want to install another distribution Do i have to remove the partition? What will happen if just delete the partition, will the dual booter stay or will be deleted?? thanks |

Ok what I do is I use windows to delete the partition that Linux is on. I go Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Computer Management>Storage>Disk Management and then I select the partition I want and click delete to delete it.
They might be an easier way. If you delete the partition the Duel boot will go. So do you want 3 OS (Windows, mandrake , and another Linux? |

if is a distro like Fedora Core 3 and up, it lets you destroy all Linux partitions, net really delete them, but rid the partition of all linux info, and then you can reinstall.
