Default Long Long Time

I've had some problems before, but this is by far the weirdest one yet. My OS is running off a WD Raptor, and I have two other HDs; One is 250Gb and the other is 120Gb.

I took my 120Gb over to my friends today, and looked after it carefully. I connected it up to his computer and it didn't work because of all the settings (which I didn't want to change).

I came back and plugged all my HDs in the SAME WAY. When it got to the very start screen, it took ages for it to recognise both the IDE Hds. Then, after taking about 30 seconds, I got a blank screen and nothing happened. I took both the IDEs out, and it worked, fine. I put the 250Gb in, and had to set the priority to the Sata HD. It worked. I then put the 120Gb back in...It didn't work.

I sat sulking at my desk a minute ago leaving it on the black screen, when suddenly, a quicky message came up at the bottom about "storage" is all I grasped, and then the windows loading screen came up. It loaded for about 3 minutes (Against a normal time of about 8 seconds). When it loaded, the computer ran fine, and I could access everything on each hardrive.

I reset the computer and the same thing happened. Took ages to recognise. This time, when it reached the windows screen, it only took about 20 seconds.

Please help

Thank you!
