When i go to my computer, my DVD drive is not there anymore, it happened when i tried reinstalling windows xp pro >.<, im pretty sure that it still works because i can boot from CD.
When i check device manager, there was meant to be this DVD/CDROM drives, but there isn't also... Help please |

Is the drive enabled in the Device Manager? If not, go to the device manger, click on the properties of the drive, and enable it.

the jumpers are set on slave, originally it was on slave and it worked..then i changed it to cable select but it still doens't seem to detect it.
But comp is totally screwd up, see this thread Screwd? if any of you have any idea on how to fix it, please help! |
