Default XP vs XP64

I was thinking of going with XP64, but I am not so sure. I am trying to find a cd/dvd optical drive that will support XP64 but having no luck. Also I am not sure if the Sata 3Gb Hard drives will work either.

What OS would you recommend?? Thanks

go with 32bit for now. vista is going to be out in a year or so, and rumor has it that the 64bit drivers will be much better at that time
what processor do you have?

I have had trouble running things with the WOW64 thing on x64, as well as not having any drivers fro my hardware. Luckily I only have the free trial version. I would go with 32 bit for now.
