Or it's a duplex, and they are side to side.

Hawaii ay? Probably alot like California, land shortage, incredibly high property tax. Here where I live there are miles of open spaces around me, all being developed in the next few years though. Quarter of a million bucks for a 2600+ sq. ft. house isn't bad.

It's like one big house, seperate entries. It could be side to side, one up one down. Where I live is not a duplex. They added on to the back of the house so we enter it through a side door. We have an upstairs and a downstairs. They live in the front, we live in the back part of the house. Share the yard, not that either of us use it anyway.
