Microsoft is a funny company... They hire around a thousand programmers, givie a few programmers a tiny section to program then a core group take all those tiny pieces and tries to put it all together to create the OS..... The guy who ran the Windows 2000 project also ran the Vista project but quit because he was tired of Bill's crap... Anyway, Bill decided to start over and got rid of most of the programmers and with a core group they are completely starting from scratch with Windows Vista.

I hope they get it right this time.

By the way have you seen pics? they've completely copied Apple Mac os X 10.4 Tiger, they've got widgets put in (only their not called widgets) and and all the buttons are aqua style.
PC is a copy of Mac from the beginning...
Well as for stealing idea's from apple they have taking ideas for Windows XP also. I've never used a MAC but I can tell you that my Linux desktop used group tasking and built in zip support before Windows ever did. All this did though was give me a windows PC that supporting things that I liked (good thing) Now people have been complaining for a long while about how ugly Windows is and how they should take a look at Mac (guess they did). Now we complain that they listened? sheesh I would feel bad for Billy if he where not so rich . I appreciate that they made windows XP a bit more appealing then what was before it and I'm certainly happy that Windows Vista will complete the style. Lets face it, Windows XP is not the nicest look although I like using the Media Style skin.

Im not sure if this is true but on another site it said that Windows Vista would need PCI Express graphics so that it could use more system memory or somthing like that? and it would need 2gb of ram????? is this true?

I highly doubt that ms would make that high of a requirement if they actually wanted to sell any copies. I can run the vista betas fine on the computer I have now.
