Hey!

I have a prob, i just moved and took mt pc with me but in my new place the wireless router is in another room and had thick walls and doors in the way- basicly my connections says "low"/"very low" and speed is "1.0Mbps". Sometimes the speed goes up to 24Mbps but in my old place it was always "excelent" and speed was 54.00Mbps. Anyway, my question is: we have 2 meg broadband and my pc's internet is very very slow(because of the bad connection), but if its at 1Mbps or 24Mbps, shouldnt the internet be very fast anyway?, bacuse even the connection speed is only 1Mbps, thats fast.....fast enough to play games online anyway- but i cant- too slow. Also, is there any easy way to improve the signal?
