Default a few settings from the bios setup

should these be enable or disable and when?

config dram by speed enable disable or auto

auto detect dimm/pci clk enalble or disable

spread spectrum enable or disable

it all depends on your computer. no one can tell you unless you tell us exactly what hardware you have, if its overclocked, stock, underclocked or anything. just for refrence though, if you want stock you need to have "dram by speed" enabled, you need "auto detect pci" enabled if you have onboard or PCI card. if you are using AGP then there should be an AGP option unless your board is old and has no AGP slot. and finally "spread spectrum" should be disabled in almost all cases. im not saying those will work...but generally with a normal machine that does work. try it out and see if you want, but i'd consult your manual first.
