Blank Screen

Ok today I was sittin at my computer and my cat jumped up on me and I was pettin it then it jump off and when it was in the air between me and my computer I felt and heard a zap shocking sound when u get shocked. So my computer just went blank and I tunred it back on and everything was fine. Then about a hour later I was listen to some music then the bitch just froze and it said new hardware when it was frozen in the bottom right so im like wtf is this then I manual shut it down and now when i turn it on the fans frie up but the screen is blank the light satys yellow dosent go green.

Any ideas to what could have happened anyone ?

try reseating your video card, and your ram...make sure the power is off.
