hardware:
cpu-z - hardware info
everest home edition - hardware info

media:
vlc media player - movie player. really good. plays files some wont.
windows media 10 - u should know
winamp - music, video, player. can also watch pictures, and play games.
divx player - plays divx format
quicktime - plays .mov
realone - plays .rmvb real media
goldwave - edit audio
movie factory 4.0 - create dvds

burnin dics:
dvd decrypter - burn image files (not in production anymore, but very good)
nero 7 ultra - burn movie, music, data, image also(but i personally prefer decrypter)
IsoBuster - extracts image files if u choose to burn it that way

image:
corel paint shop pro x - edit image
adobe photoshop cs2 - ""
adobe imageready cs2 - ""

utilities:
zone alarm security suite - all in one pc protection
panda platinum 2006 - all in one pc protection
bitdefeder 9 pro - ""
winaso regdefrag - defrags your registry
winaso reg optimizer - optimzies your registry n cleans it
executive software diskeeper 9 - defrags your pc
spybot s&d - antivirus
sunbelt counterspy - antispyware

misc., unaccounted for:
bricopacks - change ur pc shell
winrar - unzip .RAR
winzip - unzip .ZIP
streambox vcr - records streaming audio/video
realVNC - use someone elses computer like its urs
bitspirit - torrents
office 2003 - word, excel, powerpoint, access, etc..
folderguard - encode your files
