Default Video card Question

Since I am building an AMD system using DDR memory, Do I have to choose a video card that also has DDR memory or can I use any PCIE video card I want???

ya... wait praetor if you say that all video cards are ddr, then why are some GDDR3 and such? And my buddy told me they are coming out with GDDR3 for main system memory? True or false?

g=graphics
the main difference between graphics memory and system memory is the voltage.gddr3 operates at 2.5v i believe, but when it comes out for pc's, it'll likely use 1.5v to reduce heat.

Ohh ok. How much better is this memory going to be than current memory?
Also, when will they begin production of it?

better... who knows, but most likely it will be as good if not slightly faster than ddr2 if/when it is released.
as to when... that's undeterminable but i'd expect mid-late 2007
