Default Generic WebCam?

i have a Generic WebCam and i lost the driver cd is there anyways to find the driver???

is there a reason you need the drivers? since its usb, it should be plug and play and you shouldnt need drivers unless there are specific features you want to use.

have u tried using it?

u gotta install the driver inorder to make it work..

not necessarily. windows come with some generic drivers.

try this.......connect the webcam to your usb port/go to control panel/printers and other hardware/in the left pane there should be an option called add hardware. click it and follow the directions. see if this works.

Any video camera with an IEEE 1394 (Firewire) connection can be used as a web cam. Maybe you would want to try this, if you have a video cam.

he just means that if you have video camera that connects to firewire, you could use that as a webcam.
