OOOOOMMMMGGGGG!!!!!!!
I've been playing CS since the start of 1.5. I just went on Source yesterday, and I have to admit, even though I didnt like the game, it OWNS! The graphics are alot better, and the whole scenario is much more realistic. The guns are a bit crappier though.. thats ok. Besides that Source is the SHIZNIT! The main thing I loved, was the flashbangs..... 1, because im an awesome nader; you know, the guy that gets a nade kill like every round, the guy you hate because he always flashes you then you get knifed or simply owned with no hassle. Thats me.... mwuahaha. 2, the effect of a flash in Source is ALOT MORE crucial than in 1.6, they dont last as long... but there just unexplainable, there the most awesome things ive ever seen. Its like a real life flashbang, that... doesnt last as long, BUT THEY WERE AWESOME! Also, I love how in Source they took time to make things look real, and how you can move those.... kegs? tanks? with gun shots, or nading them and watching them fly. The bomb is alot cooler when you plant/defuse, and its overall looks. Anyway for anyone still on 1.6, what I would have said to me.... its time to move on..... seriously. Its going to suck changing over and being a noob since the play is a little different. (Since im a high end Cal-M on 1.6, my kill:death ratio is about 7:1 least.) Overall, CS SOURCE IS ALOT BETTER THAN 1.6 Thank you. |

Its hard to compare them, because there can only be 1 answer: SOURCE! lol
I also seem to better on source The whole engine is just a huge leap in technology, I once shot a gun off a bridge and he smacked into a railing. Quite rofl at the time. Great use of ragdoll.

Have you tried doing some CSS weapon skins? Go to www.csbanana.com and try some skins, it make the game cooler if you dont like how some of the weapons look.
