Hi, i'm looking for 2.5" for under a $100 to put in a MP3 player. I went to newegg and found to 60GB drives for just under a $100. I need your advice on choosing one of the two. I am also open to suggestions if you know of a better deal.
Choice #1: Western Digital 60GB 8MB cache 5400rpm's. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822144378 Choice #2: TOSHIBA 60GB 16MB cache 5400rpm's. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822149038 I am leaning to the WD because I have never had a WD HD fail on me ever. But i'm also leaning to the Toshiba because of the 16MB cache. They both offer a 3 year warranty. Thanks! |

I would go for the toshiba. you get better performance and the same warranty, also after 3 years how much will you be using the mp3 player?
