Default Sharing problem

I have finally set up a network with my 2 PCs. One problem though, I amenabling sharing on the hard drives and it works for all of them but one partition. Normally whenh I make is share, it asks to apply that to all subfolders and files and when you say yes, it shares everything. On this one drive, all it does is share the drive and nothing inside. If I go in and share the folders inside, it works but clutters up the network shared folders because insted of one single chared drive, you have multiple shared folders. Is there an alternative way to share a drive or maybe a service I have turned off?

Default

try to unshare the drive and reshare the drive. there could be setting problem or permission you set for the drives. And what file system are you using for that particular partition? NTFS or FAT / FAT32 ?
if it is NTFS, there could be a permission problem in your drive. Not in network
