Question San Andreas on PC! - Help!

I would like to know why the sound just disappears for a few minutes and then gradually comes back again while playing San Andreas. This has been happening to a few of my friends as well. Anyone know why???

Question I found it!

I found out that you need to download a patch for the game so that the Audio issues can be fixed. While trying to install my patch, i got the following error message:

Does anyone know why this is happening. I tried patching with the US patch as well as the Euro/Aus patch. Nothing changes, I keep getting this same error message. Can anyone please help?

it usually happens when it rains, download the patch and you should be fixed. i read in the patch that it happens on most systems.
if you have problems with your cd/dvd drive not reading the disks it WONT fix that. if you have a work around for that you'll need to find a new one.

edit - try reinstalling it to get rid of the message, thats the only thing i can think of

Seems like your using a crack... Cause a cracked exe is modified and patches can't use the cracked exe when updating the files, especially the GTA series have been a pain in the ass for those who have pirated and/or cracked their copies. (Good job R*)

Yes it does seem that a No-CD patch is being used. If you use no CD patches for your games then you should always back up the original .exe. I always create a "Backup" directory within the same directory of the original .exe before I use no CD cracks (on original bought games) this way if I decide to update the game I can restore the .exe.
