What kind of games are you talking about? If you are talking about the higher end games you'll be spending a lot more than that if you need a full system which includes tower, monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers. The 500-600 dollar systems you see from dell and hp won't work too good with the higher end games. Those are just entry level. You will need anywhere from 128-256 mb video card. at least a 2ghz processor, and 1gb memory. your best bet is to have one custom built for you cause it saves a lot of money.
