so i've just recently encryped my wireless network using a 10 hexadecimal WEP key - nongenerated by a passphrase. But when I go to set up the print server with these settings through the setup wizard from the disk, i get some problems. When I get to the page that addresses the wireless encryption used on the network, I select 64-bit WEP, same as the network is set up with. but then it asks for a passphrase, but there is no passphrase set up on the network - just the key. however, underneath that box, it says if my network uses a manually configured WEP key, which it does, to just leave the box blank and enter the key on the next page. so I leave it blank, click next, and it yells at me to enter something in the passprase box. I just can't figure out how to manually enter a WEP key for this print server without having a passphrase. Do I have to go and reconfigure the encryption settings on the wireless router to have a passphrase, or is there actually a way I can configure this print server. Oh, and by the way I'm running a dell inspiron 1100 xp home sp2, but this wont work on my mom's laptop either, which is an hp compaq nc6000. any help here is appreciated - thanks all.
