Since my motherboard has the "219 bug", I have to overclock via windows useing clockgen. When I do find out if it is stable at 2.4ghz, i can set the program to automatically set the cpu to that clock when windows boots.

i believe there is a bios flash available to fix the 219 bug in MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum, try
