noob help on new compy...

i just bough a comp that doesnt have an os... the specs are

CPU: INTEL 2.8 GHZ CPU W/ SUPER COOLING INTEL RETAIL BOX FAN

RAM: 512MB DDR 3200 184 PIN PREMIUM GRADE RAM

MOTHERBOARD: P4 800FSB MOTHERBOARD / 8X AGP / 3 PCI ATA 133
2GB DDR RAM SUPPORT / 6 USB (2.0) / SERIAL AND PARALLEL PORTS

VIDEO: 256E REAL VIDEO 64MB 2D/3D CHIPSET GRAPHICS ACCELERATOR

SOUND: CMEDIA AC97 5.1 CHANNEL AUDIO

NETWORK: VIA 6103 10/100 LAN, SUPPORT WAKE ON LAN
ACPI AND OS DIRECT POWER MANAGEMENT

if i have a dell xp disk will it work or will have to go buy a xp disk somewhere

If the disk is DELL it will most likely not work on your machine but you can always try it and see what happens.

you could download linux, until you get a copy of windows. the software is free, go to google and type linux.

is this a good comp... i just bought world of warcraft cause my old comp was lagging bad... or did i waste my money
