cant access some sites

Hi guys, hopefully this will be an easy one!

Someone just asked me a question and its baffled me so i thought id ask you! bear with it!

right her PC, broadband with supanet (and norton on it!) is now not letting her access some sites, eg hotmail, ebay (wont sign in). It gives the error message "connection refused when attempting to connect to x"

Apparently Norton has disabled its self as well.

she has tried it with a different browser

any ideas?

Sounds like malware. See the sticky, if the problem persists, post the Hijackthis log in Computer Security.
Basic Malware Removal
