Default help with image...need to remove something done to it in paint

OK so there is this picture, and there is a part that was drawn over with that loks like paint. I want to remove it so i can see whats under it.

I think it can be done because if i look in it with the folder in thumbnail view whre it shows a mini scale of the pictue in the icon, its not there, so basicly i want it like that but normal size...Anyone know how i can do this? i have photoshop CS2 by the way.

Perhaps using the eyedropper tool and a LOT of patience you can match the colors.

No, you take the colors around it and kind of merge the image together. It would work unless that marks are really huge. Post a link to the messed up picture so we can see how bad it is.

i didn't know if it could be done before, but the fact that the thumbail picture shows the picture WITHOUT it has got to mean there is some way...

This is why watermarks are used, they cannot be easily removed, or removed at all. I don't think it can be done unless you have a copy of the original. If this isn't your picture...you shouldn't be editing it anyways
