Default New Gaming System Computer Problems

MB: MSI P4N Diamond
Processor: LGA775 3.20 (840D)
Memory: 2 512MB (1 GHz)
Video: MSI NX7800 GTX (256 DDR3) nVidia
Sound: SoundBlaster Audigy (original #1)
Storage: 2 WD Raptor 78GB configured w/RAID0
Power: Smart Power 550w
OS: Microsoft Windows xp Pro w/SP2
Misc.: 2 case fans + 1 3 speed 120X38 fan

First off, I am a system builder and I have never experienced as many problems with a setup as I have with this one.
Back in June 2005...The original configuration included a 3.0 dual core processor but when all assembled, it would not post. I returned the original processor thinking it was defective since the d-link was pulling a processor code error. Swapped with the 3.2 and had the same problem. Contacted MSI and was told the processor was so new when the MB came out that it needed to be updated. MSI sent new BIOS and after installation, posted but would not shut down/reset properly, I would have to manually push reset. Periodically, the system would shut off as if the lights went out. Didn't matter which application was running or just idling at the desktop.
When the machine runs it is smooth, can run Battlefield 2 with Doom 3 open in background. After dealing with this for the past 5 months, there were finally updates for the SMBus and RAID drivers posted on the MSI website to which I downloaded an updated last night. I removed my sound card and enabled the onboard SB. The download fixed the periodic shutting down but now xp freezes and I had a booting problem recognizing my array. After a few reboots, a file is now missing from xp…
I am fairly new to RAID and it’s configurations. Could this be cause by my RAID0 configuration? Is this simply a Windows xp Pro glitch? Any input would be appreciative.
