Default Big question about activating windows XP OEM"i dont have a number???

ok, i had bought all of my computer, its running and
i tried to activate window XP oem.

its asking for a 42 digit number for the activation, i dont have that...
i do have that little shiny sticker i put on my computer but this 42digit will not accept letters

i dont know...

You have to call Microsoft and give them the 42 digit code on the sticker, then they will give you the activation code which goes into boxes A, B, C etc. When you click on the activate Windows icon (the keys) either choose to do it online if it is your first time, or choose to call them and dial the number and follow the instructions.
