I bought a refurbrished PlayStation2, it had some video artifacting so I exchanged it for another refurb and it works just fine. A little different than video cards, but you can always return it if there is a problem.

Refurbished:
Equipment which is usually used, and has been inspected and tested by Lake Erie Systems or directly by the manufacturer or their agent. Parts of the equipment which are deemed to be defective or worn, aged or otherwise unsuitable for proper operation may, at our discretion, be repaired or replaced to improve the operation, quality, reliability or visual appearance of said equipment. Equipment which is represented as refurbished is generally suitable for normal operation.

what do you think? sounds like it'll still work. you should have no problem at all, the only thing i'll look in is the price. if the price is a huge difference, then i'll probably get it, if the difference is around $10(tax, shipping, etc..), then i'll probably just get the new one. why? first off, i'll have to wait for the product to arrive(new or refurb), but if it doesn't work, i'll probably have to ship it back, wait again, get another refurbed one... all the time and hastle.. i'd rather have a working one.
