Question To Imrove Capturing Perfomance

I need a suggestion, to improve the video quality
My pc configuration as follows,
Intel celeron 1 Gh
128 MB SDRAM
WIN XP OS
ULEAD VIDEO EDITING SE
IEEE 1394 PCI HOST COTROLLER,
WITH FIRE WIRE
My digital camcorder is CANNON ZR 100,

Why did you say no?

As tweaker said, there is a huge performance increase from a 1Ghz Celeron to a 3ghz P4, and also by upgrading to 512MB of ram, and possible a better video card.

Im assuming your talking about capturing video from a TV card or USB capture device right? if so then yes, a huge difference.

Yes you will notice an earth shattering difference going from that old 1Ghz Celeron to a P4 3Ghz with 512MB memory. I'm guessing you suffer from dropped frames during your 1394 capture right?

At least an ATA-100 7200RPM drive is also highly recommended, or SATA if possible.

He meant video capture from his DVCAM via 1394.

I mean capturing from cannon dv ZR100 through 1394 fire wire card,
by ulead vedio editing software, but as far as there is no drapped frames,
If I see the vedio in TV directly from camcoder I am getting better quality,
but after capturing from camcoder, in pc through windows media player, or
any other player the vedio qulity is not that extent.
