if you text message a lot, imo it's going to be very hard w/ the button design on that phone

Tiny buttons like that are a pain when dialing and texting. I have the t290a phone and the buttons are INCREDIBLY SMALL!!!

The whole brain tumor thing is so old, the likeliness of you getting a tumor BECAUSE of your cell phone is next to impossible. If you ALREADY have a tumor it's a bit different I think. If you don't have brain tumors...I wouldn't worry at all.

http://www.nokiausa.com/phones?showp...tby=1&resort=1 - Have a look there, they make many non-flip style phones. I'm thinking about getting one as well...

I think that you dont have to worry about it unless your using it alot every day. For me, i use it once and a while if i need to call home about something.

If you want to get a phone, I would definately recommend a S60 (series 60) phone. This is an actual OS that runs on the phone, and has it's only file structure. It runs it's own programs, and you can install various applications. One example is a web browser, Opera. I have that installed on my phone. I also have Symantec installed on it as you can get viruses on these kinds of phones. I have the Nokia 6630 and all I can say is that it is amazing.

Go for the Nokia N70 or Nokia N90. They are both good phones, and were released recently.

i don't know exactly what the arguments were about problems being caused, but if i'm thinking correctly if what the people argued was true, wouldn't it be safe to use a bluetooth headset (or any for that matter?) seems like the "destructive" waves wouldn't be so close to your head, thus not having a potential to cause any problems..

i could be wrong though... just a guess.

Look, I'm gonna guess and say most of the population of our big planet Earth uses Mobile Phones these days. Don't you think that if this radioactivity (or whatever is produced as a result of using mobiles) actually affected people to the extent of brain tumors, then there would be more cases of people actually suffering from it? I don't know a single person, heck, I haven't HEARD of a single person who has had a brain tumor as a result of using mobile phones.
