I recently built a computer and when I went to install XP Pro i get a stop error pointing to a hardware compatability error or a driver error, My friend got the same kind of error when trying his XP pro disk on his computer, the only thing that I can think of that we have in common is an AMD 64 bit processor, Is there a known problem with AMD 64 bit processors or am I drawing a wrong conclusion. If anyone needs the stop error let me know and Ill try and install it again so I can get the error. Thanks.

I'd like to know the stop error if you can get it again.
It could be a hardware incompatibility, but XP is pretty flexible.

ok heres the update I unplugged my usb mouse and keyboard and used ps2 ones and I dont get the IRQL_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL error anymore but it seems at random spots the install freezes, I mean the CD stops and the keyboard locks up and all. It has happened in installing devises, network set up, and after that. Anyone have a clue why??
