Win Xp Pro: monitor disabled?

I was running my pc on win xp proffesional and I was doing some recording with my microphone while playing manually an mp3 song. Anyways, something happened and my pc got freaked out. my monitor was closing and opening and there were some beep sounds, etc. At the end, the monitor power supply wasn't used by the operating system. I open my pc everytime and once I run onto my operating system, the monitor shuts off. Can somebody help me? (Note even on safe mode I encounter the same problem)

Edit: Nevermind... I reinstalled my operationg system and my monitor works fine now
