Audigy 1 vs. integrated
Would a 3 year old Audigy one card provide better sound quality then my integrated AC 97 Audio? My brother has it so I was wondering If its worth smuggling it to my comp.
And I mean worth as in this could risk my life lol if he catches me...

Does the Audigy 1 have 5.1 or 7.1 capability? and does it support EAX?

I think it suports EAX (whatever that is), because on the driver it has an option for it. It has 5 connectors on the back, I'm not sure if its 7.1 but I'm almost 100% sure its 5.1. I dont have any fancy speakers though, would I notice the difference through headphones? (Logitech precision gaming set)
Oh and what is EAX?
