There were many talks of Dual core never coming to Notebook form, many said the heat would be too much to bear in such a small form factor. So if you ever see one, it'll be in a big, fat chassis. Well since you're London, there's a place over there that make dual core AMD64's, Rock Direct. I'd provide a link, but dont know if its against the rules on this forum. I'll just PM you.

I remember reading that mine is a dual core, but then it runs a Intel P 4.

Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.00GHz
1.00 GB of RAM
80 Gig harddrive (plan on getting a 160 internal customized as external)
ATI Mobility Radeon X600 128MB
18 inch moniter
Full Keyboard (these are hard to find on laptops)

All packed into a laptop.

Sadly, it's battery is only 1 hr max.

Then it is not dual core....
dual core and hyperthreading are 2 different things

The Yonah is not considered a P4

It may be Dual Channel and not Dual Core. Dual channel memory is different.

There will not be a Dual-Core laptop by Christmas, the dual-core mobile solution is called Yonah2 and will not be released 'til early 2006.

That chart gives estimated released dates of the future Intel chips.
