Default Good tv?

Im thinking of buying this for myself for christmas, it costs $259 after instant savings. What do you think?

I just want to be able to get a better looking and larger tv, and this one looked like a really good deal.

If you can afford it get a HD tv, they display allot better(for HD things).

If your going for a CRT I'd suggest getting a flat screen, it makes the picture look a bit better.

Its not a computer monitor, its a Television. And i dont want to spend anything more than $300, i've looked into HD TV's but for the ones around $300 you need to buy an HDTV kit think so you actually can see HDTV signals.

But what do you think of the tv i posted?

I have the exact same one, it's no HDTV but the picture is pretty crisp.

The picture that is displayed on the screen is made by a cathode ray tube (CRT) , so what mega10169 said was correct. Yeah, flat screen TV's picture is better than a normal CRT
