Default ram upgrade on my turion 64

right now i have 512mb pc2700 ddr sdram and looking to upgrade to 1gb of pc3200 ddr sdram. that will cost me about 150 and taxes here in canada.

i'm wondering if it is possible to use DDR2 ram with this system.

AMD turion 64 1.6GHz

i use this laptop mainly for music and i can't afford to have this skip on me during my work. please advise. thanks

Give us the make and model of your lappy, and we'll tell you.

I can tell you know if it's probable, but highly doubtful. Since it has 2700 in it right now, it may be able to run with 3200, and even DDR2-3200. But you should check out the manufacturers website, or even call them up to get the full details.
