amd opteron

may call me stupid but, you know the amd opteron do you get 2 opterons in the box when you buy, or you have to buy them seperatly heres a link

This is only one processor - duel core refers to two processor cores on the same chip, so you are getting one processor with 2 cores. Not sure where 1-8 way is mentioned, what's it in relation to?

I don't see what you mean by 1-8 way...dont see it. If you want 2 of those cpu's, then change the amount to two at check out, that's usually how it's done. That way, if it's retail, you'd get two retail boxes, if it's OEM, then you'd get one or two white boxes.

oh so they only come as 1 if you want to buy 2 you ahve to buy another one i thought thell come as 2 because there so expensive but i was wrong. got that sorted out now about the 1 way two way eight way opterons what do they mean i dont understand

1 - 8 way means that you can run a multiprocessor system with these chips. this particular example means that you can run with up to 8 cpu's on the same motherboard
