This should clear up and legality issues about roms. They ARE illegal

o, i thought they were legal if u had a copy. interesting. id like to see the specific reason, because i do know u can have backup copies of products u already legally own, i.e. cds/dvds

Here's the thing. A backup you don't play, and backup is for backup in case yours break, not a ROM, you download yourself from the internet.
