ok, i have a pc and a macintosh. i only have one monitor, mouse, keyboard and so on, i also only have space for these, i cant just get another monitor., what would be the best way of switching inbetween the two if i have them both running?

Well you could buy a KVM switch and then just get a converter for the monitor from the mac into the switch. (Cause afaik mac's use DB-21 or something along with DVI [which I don't think KVM switches use]).

You might have to find a KVM that uses USB rather than PS/2 for that mac, assuming it's newer... Might have to find some video converters as Anthrax mentioned too... I know many newer macs use DVI...some also used VGA, correct?

this mac is a G4, so i need a KVM that has USB and VGA
