Default Intel P4 630 vs. P4 3.0E?

i am using a P4 3.0E socket 478 right now.
I am not a heavy gamer nor running my cpu crazy
but i can get the 630 in a very good deal. is it really nesscassy for me to move onto the 630?

The 630 will use a different socket so you will need a new motherboard if you choose to upgrade.
