Default I need some help

Can guitar amplifiers work as speakers? Specifically a Yamaha GA-10. I got a new monitor and it wasn't compatible with my old speakers and I'm to lazy to new ones.

with the right cables connection your soundcard to the amp its feasible, you've just got to be very careful about the signal coming from the soundcard as you need it turned down quite low so that you dont get distortion from the amp
