An automated system, in my view, is a system that is controlled by a computer of some sort resulting in an process that requires very little if not human imput. It does it alone
Some elements of computer component production would be that. A robot would solder components onto a PCB in a pre-programmed, automatic manner.JAN

Yup a rip station on a plotter is an automated system, even a camera system at a traffic intersection is one. Since this is in a General Computer section, I hope you're not talking about "Automated Systems Recovery" now, are you?
